This Privacy Policy explains how Scala Communication Services ("SLPlayground," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use games.slplayground.com and our games and services (the "Service"). SLPlayground provides educational speech and language games; it is a separate service from any healthcare practice we may operate, and this policy applies only to SLPlayground.

We do not ask for or intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we do not collect protected health information through SLPlayground.
We do not sell your personal information.
SLPlayground accounts and purchases are for adults (clinicians, educators, and parents/caregivers). The Service is intended to be used with children under adult supervision, but the games do not require or ask children to create accounts, log in, or provide personal information, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We share limited information with trusted providers who help us run the Service, only as needed to perform their functions:

These providers process information under their own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
We and our providers use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember settings, run the games, and understand basic usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
We keep account and billing information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
You may access or update your account information, cancel your subscription, or request that we delete your account by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information). We will honor applicable rights and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including keeping secret keys out of public code and relying on Stripe and Clerk for payment and credential security. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated policy.
